just enough structure
The Umbrella School provides just enough structure and accountability to stay on track, remain motivated, and productive. Since what constitutes as what "just enough" means varies from family to family, let's talk about what your family needs to be successful.
FULFILL Legal requirements
Whether you want or need a little professional oversight, we got you covered. You will never be required to relinquish your autonomy as a homeschooler, but will still benefit from the professional cover of a private school. Yearly assessment, meetings with a certified teacher, and tutoring services are availble as needed or desired. Let's talk.

Under Florida law, parents must provide 180 days of instruction and maintain attendance and immunization records. The Umbrella School makes it very easy to keep track of all of this.

One yearly placement assessment and one Portfolio Review assessment are included with enrollent. ($100 value)
Suggested Course of Study (aka scope and sequence)
A scope and sequence is a list of suggested topics to cover each year to ensure a complete and well-rounded education.
We provide high school transcripts as part of enrollment within The Umbrella School High School option. ($50 value)
